New Life Rally is an environment-friendly rally that promotes planting trees, starting gardens, and other nature center activities. The rally began at 5:00 pm on February 11 and lasted until 8 pm.

Chanel, one of the organizers of the event, explained the purpose of the rally.
"We are here because we don't want our children growing up in a world where there isn't beauty. We keep telling kids they need to get out more and play outside and use their imaginations, but we are losing places for them to go. I remember playing in the woods with my grandparents and going on so many pretend adventures. Now those woods are gone. We are fighting for a future where our children can build a castle and slay monsters."

The event was truly uplifting, and I was glad I could stay the full time.
